One to play.. This was an amazingly beautiful game with massive scenery, but a very up close and personal storyline. The contrast was a very original approach to a game in addition to a considerable amount of written dialogue that you have to read yourself. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and its storytelling approach. It had a couple of mistakes, but they were very forgivable considering how much effort they obviously put into it. I hope they make more games that are this refreshingly heartfelt and creatively orchestrated.. The most beautiful game I have ever seen. 420/10 play this baked!. Hmm.. To start off, the game is not just one of those "walking simulator" game genre. It may say that but it's not boring at all just walking and all. What I like most about the game is the story being portrayed and tons of puzzles that were fun and some that were difficult. Would take you more time than a usual walking simulator game. A plus to the story too, it was amazing on how it was dark and deep that despite of being like that, showing beatiful sights and amazing cutscenes was really awe inspiring. The graphics wasn't that bad either, and had a really fun time playing the game.. WORST kind of walking sim I ever encountered so far:-ultra slow walking (even with running key pressed)-horrific boring story-some few puzzles: most simple, but mixed with some random ununderstandable stuff+nice art style, but system ressources demanding-text written in landscape style gets nerve creeping dull-the archivement hunting meta game becomes very tedious (puzzle parts search). Everything in game looks like christmas tree. Only difference between them is my christmas tree don't have caterpillars on it.. N.E.R.O. has a beautiful but sad story that guides the playe through a mystical and wonderful world. There are puzzels, some of them easy some of them very hard. The atmosphere is thrilling and the music beautiful. The levels are each uniqueThe only annoying thing is that the colorful glowing plants and written storyparts cause me headaches after playing for a while. But that can be diffferent from person to person.I had some soundbugs at the last quater of the game (missing narrator voice after solving the puzzles)All in all is it a nice indiegame with a touching story and some innovative elements.. A family whose wardrobe was snuck off the Assassin's Creed set spend hours moping about loss while walking around three fantasy settings (and another on the backlot used in Silent Hill) solving non-challenging puzzles that aren't relevant to the plot. Also, gnocchi is only served on Thursdays.Rating: 5/10A tragic misalignment of visual style and substance. If artistic rumination on depression, death and loss spark your interest, Dear Esther and The Town of Light do a far better job. But... it IS pretty.
